Roasted Barley, Ginger, & Water

MEET AFTERNOON TOAST

Afternoon Toast is a roasted barley and ginger tea brewed like a cozy ritual and bottled for everyday drinking. It’s toasty, gently gingery, and feels grounding in that my-stomach-actually-likes-this kind of way.

Each 16 oz amber glass bottle is caffeine free, sugar free, non-carbonated, and made with steeped ginger, roasted barley, and water (all ingredients are non-GMO). It’s gut-friendly without relying on probiotics or bubbles, so you can actually sip it all afternoon.

Set it on the table with dinner, keep a few in the fridge, or pour a glass any time water feels too plain and fizzy drinks feel like too much.

  • For Kimmy, this didn’t start as a “beverage idea.” It started as years of feeling dehydrated, juggling a sensitive stomach, and getting weirdly tired of choosing between water, coffee, or something fizzy that backfired later.
  • Reading Pachinko was the spark. There’s this Korean family drinking roasted barley tea at home, and it clicked: maybe hydration could feel more like a ritual and less like a chore. So she started roasting barley on her own stove, steeping it with ginger, tweaking and tasting until it turned into the calm, toasty bottle that eventually became Afternoon Toast.
